The best thing you can do for your life is give God your yes.

Not your conditions.

Not your timeline.

Not your plan B.

Just… your yes.

That one word—yes—will change everything. It may not make life easier, but it will give it meaning. When you say yes to God, you say yes to peace that doesn’t make sense. You say yes to being guided, even when you don’t know where you’re going. You say yes to purpose over popularity, obedience over opinions, and surrender over control.

My yes didn’t come from perfection. It came from being tired of doing things my own way and still feeling stuck. It came from broken plans, hard lessons, and the quiet whispers of the Holy Spirit reminding me, “I have more for you.”

And even now, every day, I’m learning how to say yes again. Yes when it’s uncomfortable. Yes when it’s inconvenient. Yes when I don’t have all the answers.

Because here’s the truth: your yes is the doorway to destiny. You don’t have to have it all together. You just have to be willing. God can do more with your surrendered yes than you could ever do with a lifetime of self-made plans.

So today, give Him your yes—and watch what happens.

There are days I show up feeling unsure, questioning if I’m really qualified to do what God has called me to do. I’ve had moments where I’ve sat in rooms I prayed for—rooms I belong in—and still wrestled with thoughts like, “What if I’m not enough?” “What if they find out I don’t have it all together?”

Sound familiar?

Let’s be honest: imposter syndrome is loud.
But the voice of God is louder.

When the enemy tries to whisper lies, God lovingly reminds me:
“I called you.”
“I appointed you.”
“I equipped you.”
“I chose you before you were even formed.”

You are not an imposter when you’re walking in divine assignment.

Every room, every opportunity, every platform, every relationship—if He opened the door, you’re meant to be there. Your story, your testimony, your healing, your growth—it all carries weight. You’re not operating off clout. You’re moving in calling.

You’re not faking it—you’re faith-ing it.

Even on the days when confidence doesn’t come easy, grace still carries you. Even when you feel small, the God in you is mighty. And when you feel out of place, remember: you are seated in heavenly places. You walk with the authority of a daughter of the King.

So no, you’re not an imposter. You’re a warrior. A witness. A woman on assignment.

If this is your battle too, you’re not alone. I’m right there with you—but I’m choosing to believe what God says over what my fear screams. And I hope you will too.

Tears are streaming down my face as I post this… I almost didn’t recognize the woman in that first video. I had forgotten I even recorded it—found it by accident while scrolling through old memories. That was me 4 years ago… completely drained, silently breaking, trying so hard to look ‘okay.’ I was stressed. Tired. Depressed. My body was telling the truth even when my mouth stayed quiet—skin breaking out, hair thinning, eyes dull and empty.

But then… GOD.

He carried me when I couldn’t carry myself. He saw every silent tear, heard every wordless prayer.

Jesus, THANK YOU for not leaving me there.

If you’re in that dark place right now, please know—He sees you too. Keep holding on.

1. I’m never gluing a wig down because I need to take it off AS SOON as I make it home lol
2. I’m going to curl in 6-8 sections. Takes less than 10 minutes. (Thanks Paul Mitchell)
3. I cut the beginning because I know yall gone talk about my set it off braids 😂

But enjoy the tutorial on how I curl my wig! (Ladies learn the basics. It takes me less than 20 minutes to do my makeup and hair.)

A few things:

Let’s break down one of my favorite scriptures using the SOAP method! 📖✨

John 16:33 is one of those verses that I keep coming back to. It reminds me that no matter what life throws my way, Jesus has already overcome it ALL. 🙌🏾

Here’s how I study it:
✝️ S – Scripture: ‘I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’ (John 16:33)
🧐 O – Observation: Jesus doesn’t say if we face trouble—He says we will. But He also promises peace in Him. No matter what happens, He already won the victory!
💡 A – Application: When I feel overwhelmed, I remind myself that my peace isn’t found in my circumstances—it’s found in Christ. I don’t have to fear what’s ahead because He’s already gone before me!
🙏🏾 P – Prayer: “Lord, thank You for Your peace that’s not dependent on my situation. Help me to trust You and rest in Your victory. Amen.”

I love this method because it helps me not just read scripture but actually live it out. ❤️
